TERRITORIES
TERRITORY OF APULIA
The territory of Puglia can count on a great variety of territories that express themselves in a rich bouquet of unmatched aromas and flavors.
With over 800 kilometers of coastline that define the geographical contours of Puglia, starting from the mountainous peaks of the Daunia to the sandy coasts of Salento, passing through large and sunny hilly areas, Puglia is confirmed, year after year, among the leading regions of the wine scene Italian with a considerable share of Italian wine production and awareness of the quality of wines obtained from local vines is increasingly gaining ground.
The sun and the land of Puglia give strong recognition qualities and an imposing structure which, thanks to the passion and experience of the Apulian winemakers, translates into authentic wines, mainly reds, with a strong identity character.
VALPOLICELLA TERRITORY
The grapes used for Ripasso and Amarone come from Valpolicella, a large hilly area of almost 240 km² in the Veronese area.
It boasts a very long wine making tradition, already in Roman times: the name itself seems to derive from the Latin Vallis-polis-cellae, which literally means “valleys with many cellars”.
The soil structure is mainly calcareous. The climate is generally mild and temperate, with rainfall concentrated in spring and autumn. The territory, crossed by 3 main valleys crossed by small streams, is rich in history and culture; alongside the scenic beauty, there are examples of architectural merits: ancient parish churches, villas, churches, small stone districts.
The territory here really offers countless attractions, starting with the Lessinia Regional Natural Park with woods, huts, snow-capped peaks and traces of prehistoric settlements.
